SONG OF THE DAY at 5:26pm
“She Lives in My Lap” by OutKast
Funny enough, I didn’t understand the concept of the lyrics until about 6 months ago when I was out running and it just came together that he was talking about an online relationship. Great song, Andre’s a genius. Blah, blah, blah…
I’ll say it again…. 46 THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH IN CHILD SUPPORT from her billionaire ex-husband!!!
I reported this story about 9 months ago and trial is set to begin soon. Her ”needs” including 24-hour nanny service, armed officer, and THE BABY’S OWN CAR & DRIVER amongst other extravagant expenditures. Should she get it or should she be ashamed?
“Notice how we only have medications but no cures? But we have ipads, Androids, satellites in space, cameras in pens, needle-thin TVs, Snuggies, etc. Like Pastor Chris Rock says, we don’t have cures for any diseases because there isn’t any money in the cure, the money is in the medication. We need to stay sick and dependent on medicines to keep you coming back and spending money. If they cure you, they cure the bleed from your wallet in to their pockets. Don’t expect to see a cure for AIDS. Cancer will stay murdering more & more Americans because the treatment makes billions for pharmaceutical industries. But in other news… I’m thinking about making tacos tonight.”—
NEW RULE: Great artists can never fall off! I was having an argument with a friend who said that Prince fell off. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? When you produce 30 years of timeless music (regardless of genre), you don’t fall off because you’re free to do whatever you want! Prince would sell out 5 nights at Madison Square Garden in a row TODAY!! That’s a legend, not someone that’s fell off.
I’ll be the first to say, these kids are more than just a little pop band for teen girls. They love their instruments and I was pleasantly surprised by their musicianship at the Cosmo. I hope to cover them again when they play Vegas in July 2012!
